Suncadia Opens Lodge This Cascade Mountain resort eighty miles east of Seattle has opened a 254-room hotel built in the style of a national-park lodge. The Lodge at Suncadia (rooms from $189) offers golfers a housing option beyond the resort’s often-booked eighteen-room inn and a rental pool of luxury homes. Both of Suncadia’s courses—Prospector (2005), a public eighteen by Arnold Palmer Design, and Tom Doak’s private Tumble Creek (2006)—opened to acclaim.
