Milk & Honey
From the street you wouldn’t know this bar exists (there’s no signage or visible address; it’s between numbers 59 and 63), but inside you may as well be in a dark, intriguing, and illicit prohibition-era speakeasy. Deep aubergine colors the walls, silver metal panels the ceiling, and Sinatra croons through the sound system. Cocktails are stellar—including the London Calling: gin, sherry, lemon, sugar, and bitters ($15). It’s members-only after 11 p.m.; call ahead to reserve an earlier table.
Insider Tip: Strict bar rules add to the underground atmosphere: no name-dropping, no sharing the phone number (don’t say we gave it to you!), and no arriving late for your booking.
