Masala Dosa

Irreverent Indian cuisine is new to Cape Town, and this mod, mostly white café on a busy downtown street stands out even more for its focus on the foods of South India. The menu is full of tongue-in-cheek homages to Bollywood, and the roster of dosas (South Indian rice and lentil pancakes), curries and traditional accompaniments includes playful touches (like the “cheese melt” dosa and chocolate lassis).

We loved: Ginger and coconut chicken.
