Bravo Beach Hotel
COST: $
Vieques's first design hotel, this superchic beachfront, adults-only property draws the same crowds who flock to the latest André Balazs and Ian Schrager properties. The formerly private villa now contains nine sleekly white guest rooms, which are kitted out with Frette linens and Philippe Starck fixtures, iPod docking stations, and yoga mats. Outside is a pool-area scene that rivals the Delano’s on South Beach (complete with trendy tapas and sushi restaurants). If it all gets too overwhelmingly fabulous, take an ocean plunge on the private beach.
Tip: Good news for workaholics who also want to work on their tans: the hotel's Wi-Fi can be enjoyed poolside.
Room to Book: Rooms 3–7 have balconies that overlook the ocean.

“Opened in January by a pair of ex-Manhattanites, the Bravo brings a welcome small-scale, big-city vibe to Vieques. Pack your laptop: the high-tech hotel has one of Vieques's only Wi-Fi 'hot spots,' for wireless Internet access....” MORE>>
